The water chain
It is becoming increasingly clear that there is actually only one water chain that is forming more and more of a whole. A chain that increasingly collaborates to address the challenges in the areas of climate adaptation, safe water, circularity, and energy transition together. For example, purification plants are used as water factories for process water, or excessive rainwater is retained to relieve sewers and slow down drought.
During Aqua Netherlands, supply and demand of water technology, water management services, and knowledge products come together for the complete national water chain. The four water types, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Process Water, and Urban Water & Sewerage Management, each receive targeted knowledge sessions, product presentations, and networking opportunities.
