In the role of project coordinator, you are the point of contact for electrotechnical projects for the west region (with Heemskerk location) from start-up to delivery. You form an important link in the entire process and lead it in the right direction. You ensure that the overview is monitored about the planning, implementation and progress of the projects and that the right people and materials are present. You are also responsible for budget control and building relationships with (potential) customers. Other tasks of the project coordinator are:
Managing and coordinating the project teams
Making the schedule
Preparing quotations, purchasing materials, budget monitoring and drawing up financial reports
Guaranteeing the quality within a project
Monitor progress and make adjustments where necessary
Assess additional and less work
Act as a point of contact for the engineers
Maintaining and developing the relationship with the customer
Of course you do not do all this alone, but you are supported by your colleagues in electrical engineering such as the project leader, engineers and work planners. In addition, you also have a lot of contact with your colleagues from other disciplines. In this way you together ensure that a project is delivered properly.
In this position it is possible to grow into the position of Project Leader in the long term.
