As a mechanical engineering work planner, you are the spider in the web of a project. You are responsible for organizing and preparing all the resources needed to make our projects run successfully. Questions that concern you include: Has the planning been completed yet? Has the last offer already gone out? Is all the necessary equipment available? This way you ensure that our people and materials are in the right place at the right time. For this you have a lot of contact with other internal colleagues such as project leaders and implementers, but also with external parties.
In your role you are not exclusively working in the office. Based on your curiosity and passion, you regularly take a look outside the construction site to see if the project is progressing as planned. Other tasks include:
Timely planning, transfer of knowledge and information;
Actively maintaining contacts and collaborating with various disciplines within and outside GMB;
Calculate the costs;
Managing project data and documents, as well as compiling technical construction files;
Carrying out all preparatory activities for the realization of optimal project progress.
GMB Services is a multi-technical partner for drinking water companies, water boards and industrial wastewater processors. With more than seventy qualified and driven colleagues, we stand for thorough maintenance, well thought-out renovations and professional management. In addition, we resolve malfunctions and calamities quickly and adequately.
Within the mechanical engineering team you will be given the space and responsibility to run a project yourself. Of course you never do this alone. You will end up in a close-knit team where everyone is there for each other and helps where necessary. The team currently consists of 3 project leaders, 6 work planners, 3 executors and a club of mechanics. They can’t wait to meet you as a new colleague.
