Planning Engineer

In this role, you are responsible for the entire work preparation for our new construction and renovation projects for, for example, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and drinking water stations. You are responsible for the timely request and ordering of goods, installations or subcontractors and monitor the agreements made. In addition, you draw up purchasing schedules, material lists and data requirements schedules. You request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, set up mirrors and discuss these with the project manager. Investigating alternatives for purchasing, construction processes/methods, construction materials and providing input for the financial reports are part of your duties. You are partly responsible for the coordination of the construction project and monitor the agreements made.
