The Better Green has evaluated the manure and digestate market in Germany as high potential market. Several studies have indicated there is an surplus of manure and digestate globally. Manure is a valuable by-product of the livestock sector, providing nutrients to plants, organic matter to soil and forming an essential element in the cycle of life. By processing manure and digestate valuable residues can be created and artificial fertilizers can be produced.
The Better Green has given RWB Water and its partners an order to build, engineer and construct a manure and digestate treatment plant. In which RWB as a multi-disciplinary engineering company with a thorough process background plays an important role in the treatment of the manure & digestate. By using state of the art technologies RWB has built serval manure and digestate treatment plants over the years.
For the manure and digestate processing market, RWB has developed its own products. These RWB products are now delivered Plug & Play, which ensures shorter lead times on site. Each product, built as a skid, is extensively tested before being sent to the construction site. Schematics are checked; TAG numbers are applied; a pressure and leak-tightness test takes place and, finally, an IO check. By delivering it this way, we not only shorten assembly time, but also commissioning time. As a result, we work more efficiently and will soon be able to handle more projects with the same number of people. In short, a win-win situation for us as manufacturer and our customer. In this case, The Better Green.
The installation is currently being installed in Haselünne and consists of:
– Pre-treatment
– Ceramic Membrane Filtration
– MAP reactor
– Ion Exchanger
– Vapor stripping
– Rectifier
– Entgasser
– Reverse Osmosis
– Ion Exchanger
By using these techniques, service water but also other valuable products will be produced.
