Sales/Process engineer

Job description As a Sales/Process Engineer, you support the field sales force of the Products & Services department by advising and setting up the most suitable process design of (parts of) water treatment installations. You do this for companies in healthcare and non-residential construction, but especially in the industrial sector. Together with the field sales force, you translate the wishes and requirements of customers into a process technology design. In addition to designing and supplying turn-key water treatment installations, your work also includes optimizing and making (existing) installations more sustainable. To do this, you carry out an inventory, if necessary with a process technologist. Based on the inventory, you develop the best customer solution and incorporate it into a quotation. You mainly work in the office, but you will also regularly visit the location to get a good impression of the conditions.

Your tasks include:
– Drawing up the process-technical design;
– Selecting technologies to be applied;
– Making the necessary process calculation;
– Determining a hydraulic profile;
– Drawing up a P&ID;
– Drawing up process specifications for equipment;
– Drawing up a process description;
– Customer visit on location to obtain the correct information;
– Calculating and developing the quotation.

Job requirements
– A completed MBO/HBO education in process technology or chemical technology;
– Able to work well independently as well as in a team;
– Commercial and goal-oriented;
– Good communication skills, spoken and written;
– Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;
– Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
