Sr. Mechanical Engineer

For those reasons and because our customers are so satisfied with our products, it is time to add a Sr, Mechanical Engineer to our organization. We design, engineer and supply biological air purification installations to industry and governments. And we do that worldwide. We have good contacts with our relations and that they appreciate our products and our team is reflected in the large number of follow-up orders that we receive. And that is also special.

JOB DESCRIPTION
§ Going through (English) technical specifications as a basis for making drawings in 2D and 3D in SolidWorks (GAs, P&IDs, tag lists and sometimes production drawings), all according to the “Shell standard”.
§ Discussing the specifications and scope of delivery with the project team.
§ You select the right process instruments, such as pumps, valves, fans, piping, etc.
§ Can process changes made by customers (or provide a well-founded substantiation why a change cannot/may not be made).
§ Some (international) travel is also part of the job: to get to know (new) suppliers; to Perform FATs and SATs to understand our products and contribute to further optimization.
§ Further expanding our drawing library.
§ You are familiar with the various engineering standards.
§ And what else could you contribute!

YOU
§ You are an experienced mechanical engineer and you work at Higher Eduction level.
§ You have a background in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.
§ Familiarity with ATEX and/or in the petrochemical industry is a plus.
§ You are used to operating in an international playing field.
§ You live around the Assen-Groningen area.
§ Are you a seasoned ME, who is pragmatic and has a good sense of humor –
