As an executor within GMB you are responsible for realizing 1 to 3 multi-technical projects at the same time, depending on the size and intensity. You work together with a team of project leaders, work planners and other technicians on projects that vary from installing a new drinking water pipeline, renovating aeration tanks to realizing complete mechanical installations. These projects vary in duration from a few months to 1 to 1.5 years and have a size between 1 and 5 million.
Tasks associated with the role of executor include:
Act as the external point of contact for the customer and colleagues.
Keeping a project running on schedule
Ensuring that quality is guaranteed and that safety comes first.
You monitor the work preparation and coordinate with the project leader about planning, the deployment of personnel and equipment and financial progress.
You manage colleagues outside and ensure good cooperation between the various disciplines
You identify bottlenecks, solve problems and think about improvements
Within projects, it is therefore up to you to ensure timely, correct and efficient implementation, within the established budget. We believe that freedom in this role is very important and give our executives the responsibility and autonomy needed to be successful in their role.
You take this with you
at least an MBO-4 education where you have been introduced to the work as an executor. A few years of experience in a similar role? Absolutely great! But we also have options for starters.
You are independent, have courage, are eager to learn and can stand your ground.
You have good communication and social skills and can work well with different parties.
You are available full-time and willing to travel to the project locations.
In the future you can further develop yourself within GMB to become a project leader.
